WANT TO KNOW MORE? HERE’S MORE DETAILED INFO ON THE STEPS:
Start Your Case
At our first meeting you will need to provide us the details of your car accident like where, when and how it happened, witness names and what police department handled the crash. Sometimes, if your auto accident happened on a highway in the Kansas City area like Interstate 35, Interstate 435 or I-70, it may not always be easy to identify the exact location. In that case having the name of the law enforcement agency like Kansas or Missouri Highway Patrol, Kansas City, Missouri Police Department or other police agency can be especially important in helping to locate and obtain the accident report.
If there was 18 wheeler or other big truck involved in your crash it’s important to accurately record the name of the trucking company involved. Truck accident cases are frequently more complex than your ordinary car accident case and can require specialized experience, resources and training. See our truck accident page for more information about how we can help you with these often complicated cases.
You will need to tell us about the injuries your car crash, 18 wheeler accident or other big truck wreck caused and medical care that you have had to treat your injuries. You will need to tell us about all medical providers from whom you received treatment for your injuries. To process your case we will need to obtain medical bills and records from these providers and will need you to sign medical authorizations allowing your providers to release these to us. To move forward with your case you will need to sign a legal services agreement where you agree to hire us and we agree to take your car accident case.
